I used to think I just missed something.


But here’s what I learned:


A lot of decisions don’t get made in the meeting.

They get made before. Or after.

In DMs. In kitchens. In calendar invites you’re not in.


If you’re not looped in early, you’re not leading the work. You’re reacting to it.
