When your work keeps getting questioned

You double-check your numbers, test the pipeline, and write a clean summary.

Then someone still asks: "Wait, where’s this coming from?”

It’s tempting to get defensive.

But what if the problem isn’t the number?

What if it’s the missing story around it?

Like, what changed since last time.  

Or what it means for them, not you.  

Or how it ties to the bigger thing they’re worried about.

Next time, try starting with why this number matters.  

Just one sentence.

You’ll be surprised how much smoother the rest goes.
